Kohala

This model is my version of the traditional Weissenborn lapsteel. As the name suggests, it must be placed on the lap and played with a slide, normally stainless steel.
The timbre of this guitar is unique, and extremely balanced compared to other lapsteel instruments, with a lot of sustain and harmonic richness, making it very suitable for solo performance.
